Dr. Giulia Daneshgaran is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon joining South Coast Plastic Surgery from the University of Washington, one of the nation's premier integrated plastic surgery residency programs. A published researcher and award-winning surgeon-scientist, she brings deep expertise in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, along with a special focus on facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and injectable treatments.

Brief Professional Overview
Dr. Daneshgaran completed her integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Washington, where she served as Resident Director of the Injectables Clinic and President of the Women in Surgery Council. Her clinical training spans the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, from facelift and rhinoplasty to breast reconstruction and microsurgery. She has authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications and presented her research at national and international conferences across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Extraordinary Achievements
Dr. Daneshgaran is a nationally recognized surgeon-scientist. She received The Aesthetic Foundation Residents and Fellows Travel Scholarship, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons Cannon Scholarship, and multiple national research awards. Her recent work on facial volume changes following GLP-1 medication weight loss, widely known as "Ozempic face," was published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum and presented at Plastic Surgery The Meeting 2025. As Resident Director of the University of Washington Injectables Clinic, she trained fellow surgeons in advanced dermal filler and neurotoxin techniques. She is fluent in English and Italian, with proficiency in French.
