What can I Expect During my Treatment?

Treatment with injectables typically takes fewer than 30 minutes to perform. Many dermal fillers are formulated with built-in lidocaine and are thus painless; however, your provider can apply a topical numbing solution to the skin prior to your treatment to ensure a stress-free, comfortable experience. Volbella XC is designed especially for the lips and the skin around the mouth. Volbella XC smooths away lines around the mouth, plumps the lips and lasts for up to one year.

Vollure XC

Vollure XC is used to soften and smooth deeper wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds (often called smile lines). The results last for up to 18 months.

Ultra Plus XC

The Ultra XC filler is primarily used to fill the lips and smooth the area around the lips. It can also be used almost anywhere on the face to smooth laugh lines, folds, deep wrinkles and fill the lips. Results last for one year.

Voluma XC

Voluma XC is a thicker filler that is designed to restore lost volume in the cheeks and other hollow areas. Voluma XC smooths away wrinkles and creates a smooth, youthfully plumper appearance. This filler can last for up to two years.

Sculptra

Sculptra is unique in that it is made from synthetic poly-L-lactic acid, a substance naturally produced by the body. Sculptra provides volume and fills hollows, and it diminishes facial creases. Sculptra triggers a major boost in the production of collagen. Collagen uses three treatment sessions to help the skin create more and more collagen. This produces long term results and volume that can last up to two years.

Radiesse

Radiesse is made with tiny spheres of calcium hydroxylapatite, which is a naturally-occuring substance found in the body. Radiesse helps to stimulate the production of collagen, the natural protein that gives youthful skin its supple, full appearance. Radiesse plumps deflated facial contours, smooths wrinkles and fills folds.

The RHA Collection

The RHA Collection is formulated to be as close to the natural hyaluronic acid already created in the body. Hyaluronic acid is the substance responsible for hydrated, supple, luminous skin, and it is the substance that most fillers are based on. RHA fillers are more exactly like natural hyaluronic acid, which allows them to treat dynamic wrinkles without causing the face to appear stiff or unnatural. RHA fillers are the only FDA-approved fillers to treat dynamic wrinkles. RHA fillers smooth fine lines, fill hollows and can also plump the lips.

Are there any Risks or Side Effects?

Because many fillers rely on the power of hyaluronic acid, a biocompatible compound, allergic reactions are quite rare. As with any cosmetic procedure, however, there are some inherent risks. These include bruising, swelling, tenderness, itching, and rash. Less common side effects may include asymmetry, temporary numbness, and a poor aesthetic outcome. Is there any Recovery after Dermal Fillers?

Most patients are able to immediately resume their normal routines after a dermal fillers session. Minor swelling, bruising, and tenderness only last a matter of hours or the rest of the day, after which they quickly fade. While there are few restrictions after dermal filler injections, it’s important to avoid vigorous exercise for a few days in order to allow the product to properly settle into place. You should also refrain from rubbing, touching, scratching, or disturbing the skin in any way, as this can cause the filler to migrate into unintended areas.

Dr. Song is board-certified in emergency medicine and has been practicing for over 36 years, having treated more than 100,000 patients. He received his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, where his academic standings earned him a spot in the highly competitive residency program at USC’s Los Angeles County hospital.

Meet Natalia Srabian

Registered Nurse

Natalia is a devoted nurse who has a passion for helping women look and feel their best. Natalia received a double major from the University of California, Irvine. After becoming a flight attendant and traveling the world, she went back to school at West Coast University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Natalia has training in all areas of plastic surgery where she assists Dr. Song in patient management, and even assists in each surgery. Patients can feel comfortable coming to her with any pre or post-surgical questions, no matter how big or small the issue may be.

Nurse Natalia also performs non-surgical treatments including Botox, Filler injections, Laser Hair Removal, Halo Laser, other laser treatments, MiraDry, or other cosmetic practices to help with any aesthetic needs. She enjoys treating the patient as a whole and loves to be involved in every step of your aesthetic journey. Her passion is to remind her patients of their natural beauty with emphasis on refinement and symmetry.
