Dr. Scott Weatherwax is our board-certified anesthesiologist at South Coast Plastic Surgery, and provides anesthesia for all Dr. Song and Dr. Ali’s surgeries. He is exceptionally skilled, with 35 years in practice. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in 1981 with a specialty in anesthesiology.
Dr. Weatherwax has been working with our team since 2012. He is known for his gentle technique, and for helping our patients wake up from a procedure feeling great and free from nausea. His lengthy career in medicine began serving as an OR technician with the Navy.
He then chose to advance his skills by achieving a specialty in anesthesiology. On a personal note, Dr. Weatherwax loves all things sports, car racing, and golf.
